§01 - Introduction

Who we are

Vurt ("Vurt", "we", "our", "us") operates a technology platform that enables users to discover independent currency exchangers, create exchange links, and facilitate communications relating to currency and digital asset exchanges. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you access or use our website, marketplace, and related services.

§02 - Scope

Who this applies to

This Policy applies to all visitors, registered vendors, buyers, and users of Vurt services. By using the platform, you acknowledge that your information will be processed as described here.

§03 - Information We Collect

What we collect

SUMMARY

Vurt ("Vurt", "we", "our", "us") operates a technology platform that enables users to discover independent currency exchangers, create exchange links, and facilitate communications relating to currency and digital asset exchanges.

We may collect the following categories of personal information: • Identity & contact: name, email address, phone number • Vendor business details: exchange rates, supported currencies, exchange limits, payment usernames (e.g. PayPal, Payoneer), bank account details, and wallet addresses • Transaction data: proof of payment uploads, exchange records, and related communications • Technical & usage data: IP address, browser type, cookies, device identifiers, and platform analytics

§04 - How We Use Information

How we use your data

We use personal information to operate the marketplace, create and manage exchange links, publish vendor profiles, facilitate exchange requests, and send transaction notifications. We also use it to prevent fraud, investigate disputes, improve the platform, comply with legal obligations, and communicate service-related information. We do not use personal data for purposes beyond what's reasonably required to deliver these services.

§05 - Vendor Listings

Public vendor profiles

By registering as a vendor, you consent to the public display of business information you provide for marketplace discovery — including your display name, supported currencies, exchange limits, rates, and exchange link or business website. Information not intended for public display will not be published, except where necessary to facilitate a specific transaction.

§06 - Sharing

Who we share with

SUMMARY

We never sell your personal data. We only share what's necessary to complete a trade, operate the platform, or comply with the law.

Information is shared only as necessary in the following circumstances: • With your selected exchanger or buyer to facilitate a transaction • With service providers acting on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements • When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process • In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition We do not sell personal information to third parties.

§07 - International Transfers

Cross-border data

Because Vurt is a global marketplace, personal information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your own — including countries that may have different data protection frameworks. We implement reasonable safeguards for international transfers where required by applicable law.

§08 - Data Retention

How long we keep it

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required for these purposes, we take steps to delete or anonymise it securely.

§09 - Security

How we protect your data

No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We encourage you to protect your account credentials and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

We implement administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure usage, improve functionality, and enhance platform security. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect some platform functionality.
